POEM: WE

There are many other things we deserve from one another than the hate we give. A good day to the planet earth. Today’s poem is about the help we can render to one another to make the the world a beautiful place to live in as lovers, neighbors, colleagues etc. Read and enjoy.

Now I know, it would have been better,
if we don’t have to bother,
About the weather
Because we are all that matter.

• 

If our culture, religion and skin,
Do not matter and our age and distance,
Were just numbers,
Because we are all that matter.

If when I turn my back you would not tremble
And when I tremble you would make me stand.
If I needed something close,
You would be my hunch.

Sometimes I do think,
It would have yielded a better result,
If when I tried to build
You made a solid foundation.

It could have ended in no tears,
If when I was suffocating,
You provided me with air
And then cherish me with care.

It would all have been better,
If we could live in oblivion
Of what went on around us,
And not worry about a  thing
Because we are creating something.
